Manic Panic? Doesn’t take on naturally white hair.

I’d been letting my natural white streak in front grow out, because truth be told I’ve always liked it. But to spice things up, I picked up some hot red Manic Panic, thinking I’d dye the white bits a fabulous red for some zing. ZING!

No zing. What I ended up with was some slightly pink hair, a lot of remaining white hair, and what looked like a very painful case of psoriasis of the scalp.*

Sigh.

So I had to dig out some brown dye and re-do my whole head to wipe out the pink/red/bleeding scalp syndrome…bye-bye white streak. Pooey.
