Descriptive or prescriptive?

On the window of the metro, beside me as I sat, a five-inch sticker on the glass called me a DIRTY WHORE in Arial 18-pt bold.

A recap of the interim text

Welcome to needmoremonkeys.com, your home for, erm, simian deprivation on the web.

Bill here. You may have seen me in other fine domains such as billegible.org and geekwardho.org. Y’know, that female Bill person, the one who plays naked Diablo and WoW and is geeksexual. The one who used to have a website before she got busy and her domain registrar proved to be a wanker when time came to renew her domain.

Sucky domain registrars have, as mentioned above, once again fubar’ed an attempt by me to renew my domain name. Sigh. Therefore, I am (once again) setting up shop under a brand spanking new domain name (emphasis on the spanking, w00tness).

UPDATE: Trevor (the new laptop) got reformatted a couple of days ago and website-making software is being installed on him preparatory to a new template being made. In the meantime, the presumed spammer who bought geekwardho.org from my annoying ex-registrar is currently grabbing my 2004 site pages from the web archive, presumably in order to boost the pagerank until he’s ready to replace it with spam-o-rama. But hey, for the mo you can go relive old times.

Until the real content arrives, have some links:

Infinite monkeys and Shakespeare, from the monkey’s mouth
The infinite monkey theorem
Infinite monkeys have a blog, if not a posse
(damn, there’s the domain name I should have registered)

A Few Good Monkeys

Solonor was distressed that I had neglected to link Monkey Ninjas.

Steve first crushed me but then conceded defeat upon respelling and gave up plunder in the form of more monkey links:

The BBC always has monkeys to spare
Monkeys are science
Archives of the science monkeys
Random monkey typing generator

See you all later when the template fairies come to visit…

Good lord, a test post

Not that I really need a test post. But a test post would contain about as much sense as any of my regular posts so HEY, a TEST POST! Bananas and gilliwinkles for everybody!
